The Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine is approved by the American Osteopathic Association as a sponsor of category I-A continuing medical education.

The KAOM certifies participation in its CME programs and, for members only, provides an Osteopathic Recognition Award to the Kansas Board of Healing Arts for purposes of license renewal.

Normally the KAOM conducts two CME programs per year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The two programs are held at different locations to accommodate members throughout Kansas.
